Using firefox without any extensions is like not using firefox at all. So here I will put some extensions that I think is the best extensions to use with firefox and highly recommend you to give them a try.

Tab Mix Plus Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox's tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager with crash recovery that can save and restore combinations of opened tabs and windows.

Adblock Plus
Filterset
Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them. Use filterset to block the common ones.

CustomizeGoogle CustomizeGoogle is a Firefox extension that enhance Google search results by adding extra information like links to Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, MSN etc and removing unwanted information like ads and spam.

Web Developer An essential extension for any web developer/designer as it provides a raft of incredibly useful features all under one roof. You will wonder how you ever managed without it!

Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer If you use Firefox on more than one computer, you'll want Foxmarks. Install Foxmarks on each computer, and it will work silently in the background to keep your bookmarks synchronized.

Firefox themes

I'm not much into using bloated themes that take much space on the screen or have heavy graphics. So I will put up two of my favorite minimal themes here.

Themes I use with firefox

MiniFoxFlat MiniFoxFlat is one of the smallest themes I found. It makes my firefox realy slim and as much as possible of my 10 inch screen is used to display the websites. Perfect for a minimalist like me.

Modern Pinball Modern Pinball is another pretty slim theme that I also have installed but don't use it as much as before. Design goals: compactness, clarity, unobtrusive elegance and usability.
